If you're wondering how long it will take to beat God of War: Ragnarok, we've got excellent news for you.

According to Insider Gaming, God of War: Ragnarok will run up to 40 hours long. The main story alone will take 20 hours to complete. This puts it right in line with the first God of War game, which isn't half-bad.

Assuming that the report is true, we shouldn't doubt Santa Monica Studio. It already told an effective story before in 20 hours. There's no reason why it can't do it again.

Having said that, we're curious to see how the sequel will squeeze the story into 20 hours of gameplay. Keep in mind, Ragnarok will let players travel to all nine realms.

God Of War: Ragnarok Will Be Just As Long As The 2018 Reboot

Thankfully, we won't have to wait for a long time to find out if one of the top candidates for the Game of The Year award will deliver or not. Ragnarok will launch on November 9 with a PC port expected to come out in a year or two.
