Gamers are excited about Sony's upcoming PlayStation Showcase. Many expect the company to make big announcements after months of relative silence. However, two games that fans have been waiting for may not be part of the upcoming event.

Don't expect to see Ghost of Tsushima 2 and Dragon Age: Dreadwolf at the May 24 PlayStation Showcase. This information comes from reliable gaming insider and Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb, who shared the news during his Game Mess Decides podcast.

Curiously enough, earlier in the podcast, Grubb and co-host Mike Minotti discussed the possibility of Ghost of Tsushima 2 being announced that the showcase event. We've known for a while that Sucker Punch has been working on the sequel. It seems one of his sources gave him this juicy detail in the middle of the podcast.

Moving back to PlayStation Showcase, I might have just sniffed out two things that won't be there, if that helps anybody. It doesn't sound like Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be there," Grubb said. And the other one is, I heard this a few weeks ago, Dragon Age: Inquisition won't be there either.

Minotti later corrected Grubb that it is Dragon Age: Dreadwolf that is yet to be released. Dragon Age: Inquisition was the last installment of the series and was released in 2014. Grubb has mentioned that the next Dragon Age installment will be arriving in 2024.
