The Entertainment Software Association has officially announced that the next Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will take place between Tuesday, June 13, 2023, and Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Los Angeles Convention Center following a digital showcase that will take place on Sunday, June 11.
The announcement revealed that the event will be split into two parts tagged Industry Days and Gamer Days. The first part, Industry Days, will take place between Tuesday, June 13, and Thursday, June 15, while the second part, Gamer Days, will run from Thursday, June 15, to Friday, June 16.
The event will be produced by ReedPOP, the company behind the New York Comic Con, PAX, Comic Con Africa, and Star Wars Celebration, among others.
The E3 is the biggest gaming industry trade event in the United States with video game developers and publishers, as well as hardware and accessory makers, taking the stage to unveil their upcoming titles and accessories. E3 2023 will be the first E3 event since 2021 as the organizer canceled last year's version. It will also be the first in-person event since 2019 because of COVID-19.
