A feature film based on the popular Disney World attraction, Jungle Cruise, has been long overdue. Now that one is already out, it appears that Disney isn't wasting any time in turning the newly-minted film into a legitimate franchise. In fact, Disney has confirmed that Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are all on board for the sequel.
The Jungle Cruise sequel is full speed ahead
The movie, which is based on one of the oldest Disney theme park attractions, was a resounding success.
Although Johnson mentioned previously that a sequel was on the table because of how well the film did, it was not, by any means, a confirmation. However, according to THR, it appears that Johnson's sit down with Disney went very well, and that he as well as his co-star, Blunt, are both set to return for a second Jungle Cruise film.
