Dave Bautista's time in the MCU is about to come to an end. After bursting into the Hollywood scene earlier last decade for his fan-favorite role as Drax the Destroyer in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, Bautista has confirmed that he's going to exit the MCU following the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2023. But, fans of the future WWE Hall of Famer don't have to worry about no longer seeing him in movies as he's already busy securing his post-MCU career.
After confirming that he's going to star in a buddy cop movie with Jason Momoa, with MGM securing the rights to the film, the action star is now set to take the lead in M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming movie.
Bautista continues to explore his range as an actor
Earlier this year, we found out that Bautista doesn't want to work with fellow wrestlers like John Cena. It's not that he has anything personal against his fellow WWE stars, and Cena appears to understand Bautista. To be honest, you can't exactly knock on Bautista's efforts. In addition to the MCU, Bautista has delivered effective performances in movies and shows such as 2015's Spectre, where he broke star Daniel Craig's nose, and one of Apple's most-watched shows, See.
