Company of Heroes 3 is an underrated real-time strategy game and the third installment in the Company of Heroes series developed by video game studio Relic Entertainment. Sega, the game's publisher, announced it in July 2021, but for PC only. However, it seems that the game will also be coming to both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S and X.
First spotted by Gematsu, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee rated the forthcoming title for the previously announced PC as well as the next-gen consoles, PS5 and the XSX. It suggests that the title will not only be available on PC but also on the PS5 and Xbox Series S|X, despite the fact that Sega has only announced the title for PC. If this turns out to be true, it will bring no small measure of joy to fans of the series.
The first Company of Heroes title was published by THQ in 2006. However, by the time the second title would be published in 2013, Sega had bought the development studio Relic Entertainment alongside the Company of Heroes IP.
The first and second titles were published exclusively on PC. The series got its start on the PC and Mac OS X. If the port revelations are true, Company of Heroes 3 will be the first game in the franchise to see a console release.
