Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and by extension Warzone, will soon kick off bringing a wealth of new content to the battle royale game. This also means a new battle pass is available for purchase unlocking even more goodies. Let's take a look at what Season 3 holds!

Season 3 is kicking off on Wednesday, 8th of April - that's tomorrow! - on all platforms. During the launch week, Quads mode will be added to Warzone, allowing players to jump into the action in teams of four instead of three or solo. Alex, one of the playable characters from Modern Warfare is also joining the game as a new operator.

Two new weapons, the SKS and the Renetti, additional vehicle skins and three multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare close off the launch week content, with more coming later this season. Much of this was already leaked ahead of schedule, and based on what Activision revealed so far, the leaks seem accurate.

Ronin and Iskra will be two other operators unlocked in Season 3, alongside additional maps and modes for Modern Warfare, and new guns for both games. New, upcoming content exclusive to Warzone will include more modes. One of these is "Scopes and Scatter Guns" allowing only sniper rifle and shotgun weapons.

Activision is committed to completely overhauling the way ground loot works in Warzone to shake up the typical strategies players employ at various stages of the match. You'll find that looted weapons will come in both standard and silenced variants, letting you pick whichever is better suited to the situation and your playstyle.
