It definitely looks like there's still going to be a new Call of Duty installment later this year.
Just like clockwork, Activision will be releasing its nth annual Call of Duty entry, presumably in time for the holiday season. This is according to a recent leak, saying that Sledgehammer Games' next Call of Duty will be revealed in August. Also, the same source claims that Activision will reveal this year's Call of Duty in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, similar to what it did with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard.
But, that's not all. It's believed that this year's Call of Duty will bring back the much-loved Zombies mode.
The fan-favorite mode adds an extra layer of adventure and excitement to each Call of Duty entry. Previously, the Zombies mode was exclusive to Call of Duty games by Treyarch, but this has changed in recent years.
Bringing the Zombies mode back for another non-Treyarch entry suggests that Activision saw a reason to do so after its latest attempt.
