Surprise, surprise. After the two widely successful beta weekends last month, Blizzard Entertainment is giving its legions of fans another shot at diving deep into Sanctuary for an early glimpse of the game ahead of its full launch.
According to Blizzard, a third Diablo 4 open beta will run from May 12-14, which it's referring to as a "Server Slam" event.
Coincidentally, this is also the same weekend that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is coming out. So, good luck trying to get some sleep by then.
Jokes aside, Blizzard's latest move acknowledges a glaring issue with previous Diablo 4 open betas. As audiences flocked to the game, the servers struggled to keep up with the intense load. By holding another test run ahead of June 6, Blizzard can make the necessary adjustments for a smoother launch.
