Expect the "unexpected" when Black Mirror Season 6 hits Netflix in June

marks the first since Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones stepped down from their posts in House of the Tomorrow. Their departure from the show's former production initially caused concerns about rights issues. Somehow, Brooker and Jones struck a deal with Netflix to let them work on Season 6 with their new production company, Broke and Bones.

Ultimately, we still don't know what Black Mirror will bring us in Season 6. Thankfully, the first trailer gives audiences enough to tide them over and reassure fans that Brooker and Jones still haven't lost their touch. However, we can't help but wonder if Black Mirror can still surprise audiences after all this time. Keep in mind, so much has happened since Season 5 aired in 2019. The world has seen plenty of things that looked like they came straight out of a Black Mirror episode, so the series might no longer shock audiences as much as before.
