Black Adam has been in the DCEU movie pipeline for years. The movie, which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the powerful anti-hero, was intended to start production in 2020. Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, filming was pushed back to spring 2021.

Fast forward to today and Black Adam is almost finished with its final week of shooting. The film is now scheduled to premiere sometime in July 2022.

The cutting edge technology behind the Black Adam movie

As the movie revolves around one of the most powerful and enigmatic presences in the entire DC universe, it only makes sense that the director films it using cutting-edge technology.

As revealed by the WWE superstar-turned-actor, director Jaume Collet-Serra wasn't going to settle for anything less than the best technology to film Black Adam.

In a recent behind-the-scenes peek on the set of Black Adam, Johnson posted a photo of himself in a striking and powerful pose. However, as much of a spectacle Johnson is, he averted everyone's eyes to the camera located just behind him.
