Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is set to star as the titular anti-hero in the upcoming DCEU film, Black Adam. The film doesn't premiere until July 29, 2022. However, if you ask Hiram Garcia, the Black Adam producer is more than confident enough in the quality of the film that he believes that it's just the start of a series of movies that will spawn multiple sequels and spin-offs.

Compared to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DC Extended Universe isn't as well-planned or interconnected. Outside of Zack Snyder's films, there's very little continuity between the DCEU's slate of movies. To make matters worse, there has even been talks that Warner Bros. wants to erase Snyder's films from canon, albeit The Flash star Ezra Miller has since debunked this.

With that said, Black Adam could help with negated some change.
