After last year's series of exciting announcements, Ubisoft is following it up with an arguably bigger showcase on June 12 with a new Ubisoft Forward.

One of the more intriguing titles that are part of the company's current lineup is Assassin's Creed: Codename Jade. This is an exclusively mobile venture set in the expansive world of Ancient China. We caught a glimpse of this from an earlier leak, and since then, fans haven't stopped talking about it.

Now, we're about to learn more about Codename Jade on June 12.

The company's tantalizing tagline for the upcoming game, "Step out of the shadows and into a vast world of ancient China," is sure to induce plenty of hype, even among doubtful fans.

Beyond the intriguing setting and divisive platform of choice, Codename Jade marks the series' first customizable character. This means that players have the opportunity to create an assassin. Also, Ubisoft promises that the gameplay of Codename Jade will retain traditional series staples, including parkour and stealth mechanics, despite the switch to a mobile platform.
