But, that's not all. Bioware's classic Star Wars RPG title isn't just going to return as is - Aspyr Media is working on a remake of KOTOR for the PlayStation 5.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a game way ahead of its time. Many consider it one of the best Star Wars games and RPGs ever. In addition to the gameplay and the then-unusual freedom to actually make decisions, the game's plot twist remains one of the biggest shocks in gaming history. The game also served as further proof that BioWare' had a knack for narrative-heavy role-playing games, which later led to the creation of Dragon Age and Mass Effect, among others.

According to Aspyr Media, it is going to remake Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from the ground up. The studio added that the remake's development team boasts the talents of "industry veterans" that are "working in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
