As the sun sets on the debut of the recent blockbuster, M3GAN, a fresh dawn is breaking with unnerving glimpses into the sequel's potential future.
The recent Twitter revelations showcase an even more petrifying take on the movie's star, the eponymous AI doll, M3GAN. Crafted by the creative genius of Jared Krichevsky, this newly revealed concept art gives us a tantalizing peek into what the killer doll could have looked like and what may lie ahead for its sequel.
The film revolves around Gemma, portrayed by Allison Williams, an innovative mind working on the titular "lifeless" doll. Designed as a children's companion, M3GAN was initially an uncanny yet doll-like figure. As the plot twisted, she morphed into a slasher villain, adding a delightful campiness to the movie.
However, Krichevsky's recent concept art posts send a shiver down the spine, suggesting a departure from this campiness. Unveiled designs present a much more menacing M3GAN in development in a shadowy laboratory, conjuring up images of nefarious plots and dread-filled storylines.
Among the released concept art, two distinct designs for M3GAN stand out, one featuring the killer doll with a short, ebony mane that dramatically transforms her appearance. These darker variations might provide inspiration for the new entry for whenever it comes out.
