The Dark Aether story continues in Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War with exciting new Intel introduced in the brand new Zombies game mode called Outbreak. There is new Intel added to the existing Firebase Z map as well.
Given the massive size of the Outbreak regions, it is almost impossible to find the Intel scattered around without help. If you're looking for Outbreak Intel locations, then you've come to the right place. In this guide, we show you all the Intel locations in Outbreak for all regions.
As always, all these Intel are available to be collected in the form of audio logs, documents, radio transmissions, and artifacts. While some of these have fixed locations, others can only be obtained by killing the elite zombies (Russian Manglers, Mimics, Megatons, etc.)
These Intel help you understand the Dark Aether story from the perspective of the four central "teams" involved in the story: Requiem, Omega, Maxis, and Dark Aether. Below, we have listed all the Intel locations and how to obtain them in the Outbreak mode.
Unlike the other maps (Die Maschine, Firebase Z & Mauer Der Toten) that are round-based, the new Outbreak mode is difficulty-based, and every time you move to a higher difficulty, you get a different region. There are eight main regions: Alpine, Ruka, Golova, Sanatorium, Zoo, Duga, Collateral & Armada. Every time you move up a difficulty, you get the next region and loop back around to the first one once you've visited all eight.
You will find the Intel in all these eight regions. Some of the Intel are region-specific only, while the rest can be obtained in any of the eight regions.
Maps
The following maps show the locations of all the Collectible Intel in each region. Note that these maps only include the intel available to be collected physically, without any pre-requisites.
If you wish to collect all the Outbreak intel, you will need to also complete the main easter eggs as they contain artifacts, audio logs, and documents not collectible otherwise. Regardless, we've listed all the available intel in the following pages, separated by season.

**Zombie Head**: There is one general objective-based artifact that you can obtain in any one of the regions. It all depends on whether or not you get this objective. This is the objective where you will be asked to pick up a zombie head specimen and put it inside a container. Documents
There are four documents that you can get in Outbreak. These are dropped randomly when you kill the elite zombies (Russian Mangler, Mimic, Megaton, etc.).
Look for a yellow highlighted item on the ground after killing the elite zombies.
These can be obtained in ANY region. The following are all the documents you can acquire for Requiem: Operation Threshold Authorization Domino Effect Recon Rover Blueprint Disruptor Satellite Blueprint Omega Artifacts Omega Group Patch Region: Ruka You can find the Omega Group Patch artifact on top of one of the training obstacles at the obstacle course. Kravchenko's Knife Region: Ruka Kravchenko's Knife is found inside one of the lookout towers at the Missile Silos. Documents You can get three documents for the Omega group by killing the elite zombies, as mentioned before.
The following are the three Omega documents that you can obtain in Outbreak: New Frontiers Omega Staffing Report Omega Records Review Maxis Artifacts Endstation Video Tape Region: GolovaThis artifact can be found at the lowest level of one of the houses located in the lower eastern town of the Golova region. Maxis BND Badge Region: Golova This artifact is found in the far eastern part of the Golova region near the Industrial Park area. Documents There are two documents that you can obtain by killing the elite zombies. Maxis Status Report Maxis Diary Entry Dark Aether Artifacts Mystery Box Bunny Region: Alpine The artifact is inside the bedroom of one of the Base Suites in the western end of the Alpine region. Empty Jugger-Nog Region: Alpine The artifact is found on the roof of the bathhouse located at the southern end of the Alpine region.You can use the cliff by the bathhouse to parachute onto the roof. The Empty Jugger-Nog is by the Chimney head. Cymbal Monkey Toy Region: Golova You can find the Cymbal Monkey Toy at the Golova Church in the southern part of the Golova region.It's a bit tricky to get to the Cymbal Monkey toy artifact. First, enter the church, and you will notice a scaffolding structure with a set of ladders leading up to the top of the church.
Climb up. Once at the top, go out through the window and turn right. You will find some wooden crates. Use them to climb up to the higher level again.
Keep moving forward and jump across to the pillar structure. Keep hugging the structure, and you will eventually reach the side facing the town. The cymbal monkey toy will be sitting at the ledge.
Ivan's Head Region: Ruka The artifact is located in the far eastern section of the Ruka region in the Rocky Hillside.https://www.xfire.com/wp-content/uploads/downsights/2021/03/Ivans-Head-1.jpgYou need to walk up to the Train Trestle and jump on the electric pole where the head is. Documents
You can get four documents by completing trials from the trial computer, similar to how you obtained the Dark Aether documents and other Intel on Die Maschine and Firebase Z. You must keep doing the trials until you see a folder on the trial computer. The folder indicates that doing the next trial will reward you with an Intel.
Once completed, you will get a message pop up saying "Reward Available: Intel."
You can then go to the same trial computer and collect the Intel. Note that these trial computers spawn in random places all around the map in each region. Make sure you open up your map to check the location of the trial computer.
The following are the four document Intel you can obtain in Outbreak: Hello Again Divided World Trust Me More To Follow nextpage Season 2 Reloaded The mid-season update of Black Ops Cold War & Warzone introduced a lot of new Intel that gives additional insight towards the Zombies' Dark Aether storyline. The new Intel is added in the existing three regions: Alpine, Ruka, and Golova. There's also a brand new region introduced in Outbreak with a new radio signal easter egg and new Intel.
Most of the Intel added are either Radio Transmissions or Audio Logs. You can collect the Audio Logs in the same way as always by going to the specific locations and collecting the Intel except for the Dark Arther transmissions and logs, which can only be obtained via the Trials.
The Radio Transmissions are collected the same way as before by interacting with the Radios set in fixed locations. This time, these radios have a fixed location in each region. But, you can collect the transmissions from these radios at any one of the regions. The only catch is that you can only collect one per game. Requiem Audio Logs There are four new Audio Logs spread across different regions in the Outbreak mode.
Please refer to the player marker for the exact locations on the map overview. "I See A Hierarchy" Region: GolovaYou can find this audio log on top of the water tower located to the west of the central town.Climb up the tower, and you will see the radio on the platform.

Radio Transmissions
There are three new Requiem radio transmissions across all four regions. These radios have a fixed location in each region, and you can only collect one Requiem radio transmission Intel per game.
The following are the locations of the Requiem radios in all four regions. Alpine: The radio is found inside the bathhouse which is located in the southern part of Alpine.Head inside the bathhouse, and you will find it resting on the front reception. Golova: The radio in Golova is found on top of the silo in the Granary located in the northwestern part of Golova.You can either use the ladders to climb up or rappel up. The radio is on top of the silo. Ruka: The radio is located inside the cabin located in the Cargo Platform area in the northeastern part of the region.Head inside the table, and the radio will be on the table. Sanatorium: The radio is inside the office of one of the vacation homes located in the extreme southeastern section of the region.It is a yellow house. Head to the second floor, and take the first right door to enter the office. The radio will be on the work desk. As mentioned before, you can collect the Radio Transmissions from any of these but only once per game. The best way to collect the radio transmissions is by collecting one type (types: Requiem, Omega, & Maxis) per game in whatever region you're in and then restarting the game.

Radio Transmissions
There are only two new Dark Aether radio transmissions added into the game with Season 2 Reloaded. These can be obtained by completing the trials from the trial computer, just like the earlier Dark Aether Intel. These trial computers are available in random locations and all regions. You can do these trials in all the regions to collect the Dark Aether documents.
You must keep doing the trials until you see a folder on the trial computer. The folder indicates that doing the next trial will reward you with an Intel.
Once completed, you will get a message pop up saying "Reward Available: Intel." After completing the trial, you can go back to the same trial computer and collect your Intel.
The following is a list of all Dark Aether transmissions: Testing...Testing... New Enemies nextpage Season 3 Requiem Artifacts There are three Requiem artifacts added in Season 3 and they are as follows: Essence Explosive Region: Duga This artifact is found in a small hut located at the northern border of the Bunkers. Energy Mine Canister Region: Sanatorium This artifact is found to the left of the Sanatorium central building on the roof of the Mechanic Shop. Requiem Patch Region: Sanatorium You can find the artifact on the small wooden pier by the bridge at South Lake. Audio Logs There are three new Requiem audio logs added across the regions in Season 3. "Embarassement of Riches" Region: Alpine The audio log is located on the top floor of the lodge. It will be resting on the bar table. If you cannot see the player icon in the map below, refer to the pack-a-punch machine icon. It is the same building. "The Beacon" Region: Duga The audio log is on the second floor of the Chemical Processing building. It is specifically on the red board sign of the building. "The Doubts" Region: Duga The audio log is inside the hangar at the SAM Site. Documents You can collect the documents by killing the elite zombies or mini-boss zombies such as Manglers, Mimics, and Megaton. Note that you can only collect one document per game and NOT per region.

The process of collecting the radio transmission remains the same. You can collect one radio transmission for each (omega, requiem, and maxis) from any one of the regions per game. You can exit and restart the game after collecting all three radio transmissions. Once again, all the locations remain the same, as we've already shown them above in the Season 2 section. The only new locations are in the Duga region, as it has been introduced in Season 3.

The Dark Aether Audio Logs can be obtained by completing the trials from the trial computer. The following are the audio logs you can collect in Season 3:

Documents
The Dark Aether documents can be collected by doing the trials at the Trial Computer the same way you've been collecting the previous Dark Aether documents.
There are three documents that you can get by completing trials from the trial computer, similar to how you obtained the Dark Aether documents and other Intel on Die Maschine and Firebase Z. You must keep doing the trials until you see a folder on the trial computer. The folder indicates that doing the next trial will reward you with an Intel.
Note that you can only get a maximum of three trial Intel per game. After that, you won't get any. You will have to restart the game.
The following are the three new documents added for Dark Aether: Day 1 Day 3 Day 7 Radio Transmissions Similarly, you can collect the Radio Transmissions by completing the trials from the trial computer. CRBR-S Report E Cipher Radio Transmissions There are two new Outbreak radio transmissions, and they can be collected at any one of the radios across all of the regions. As the locations of all the radio transmissions have already been discussed above, we won't be going through the locations again. As always, you can only get one radio transmission intel per game.

As always, the dark aether audio logs, documents & radio transmissions can be collected by completing the Intel trials from the trial computer. You must keep doing the trials until you see a folder on the trial computer. The folder indicates that doing the next trial will reward you with an Intel.
Once completed, you will get a message pop up saying "Reward Available: Intel."
You can then go to the same trial computer and collect the Intel.
There is only one new audio log added in Season 5 Reloaded for Dark Aether.

Audio Logs
The Dark Aether audio logs are obtained the same way as before by completing the trials from the trial computer.
Whenever you start a trial when a folder icon is shown, it means you will get an Intel as a reward.
As you complete the trial challenges, you will get a message stating, "Reward Available: Intel."
You can then interact with the trial computer to get your Intel. There are two new dark aether Intel and they are as follows:
