Rapper and hip-hop living legend, Snoop Dogg, is already available in Call of Duty as a playable operator for Warzone and Vanguard. Rumor has it that the newly-minted Death Row owner isn't the only titan set to appear in Activision's marquee shooter.

As per our earlier report, the "walking disaster" alongside the eighth wonder of the world is set to wreak havoc on Caldera as soon as Season 3 of Warzone and Vanguard starts on April 27. Meanwhile, news of Snoop Dogg's arrival in Call of Duty dates back to February. Although it might seem weird seeing these three in a video game, it's not without precedence.

Snoop Dogg, in particular, has appeared in several video games in the past, even landing the starring role in 2013's Way of the Dogg.

Activision has spent the past few weeks dropping monster-related clues ahead of the Season 3 premiere next week. It's all but confirmed that something big is coming to Call of Duty and fans are convinced some gigantic creature is involved. What's interesting here is that Activision is bringing in both Godzilla and King Kong. This suggests that Activision is taking a page off of Epic's Fortnite playbook to introduce "boss battles" into its marquee shooter.
