Fans of the Snyderverse in Europe will not be happy this week. It seems that HBO Max is taking Justice League out from its catalog, seemingly in a move to reduce its visibility and prominence against the new, rebooted DC cinematic continuity.
Warner Bros Discovery recently removed the trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League from its official Youtube channel. The move was followed up by the removal of the Snyder Cut of Justice League from Max in the European region.
DC has been clear that it does not like Snyder's version of the Justice League. The studio went as far as saying that it regretted releasing the movie on HBO Max. DC Studios has also made it a point to reboot the universe that was convoluted by so many different ideas and directions.
Earlier this week, a lot of fans took to social media to call out Max for taking down the trailer video for the Snyder Cut of the Justice League. The removal of the video is quite puzzling since it is the most-viewed trailer on the channel, receiving over 30 million views. The video was reportedly made private due to a music licensing issue.
However, HBO Max has seemingly added more fuel to the fire by removing Zack Snyder's Justice League from the European catalog without any notice. Normally, when a video is cycled out, fans will get an alert informing them that the movie will no longer be available after a stated date.
