No subscription service is perfect and Microsoft's highly-praised Xbox Game Pass is no exception. Despite offering the most value for money out of the multiple video game subscription services available today, the Xbox Game Pass has one slight flaw - it has to rotate games out of its library so that it can add more.
So, while Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect to start playing nine more new games starting May 15, six will be leaving the service as well.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2021
Perhaps the biggest and most popular game leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2021 is Final Fantasy 9. Although the 2000 classic RPG title is not as popular as Final Fantasy 7, it is well-loved by series fans and widely considered one of the best RPGs ever made. The game's diverse and quirky cast of characters, as well as Active Time Battle system, was considered a throwback to then-classic Final Fantasy games.
Two more strategy games are also leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2021 in Plebby Quest: The Crusades and Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2.
The former is a turn-based strategy title that takes place in Europe and the Middle East during the time of the crusades, with players tasked to maintain the entire kingdom as neighboingr countries and the religious elite scheme to take over. Meanwhile, the latter is set in the 40K universe where players can command fleets of spaceships and build the most powerful armada in the entire universe.
