While all wrestling fans can talk about right now are Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar as well as Seth Rollins, people shouldn't forget that one of the biggest superstars in the WWE is headed to RAW next week.
Gunther, who was drafted to the RAW brand alongside his Imperium stablemates, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, will be making their highly anticipated Monday Night RAW debut on the next episode of TV's longest-running weekly episodic TV show.
Gunther is the current Intercontinental Champion with a 330-day reign. It's believed that the WWE is gunning for Gunther to set a new record and surpass the 454-day reign of the Honky Tonk Man as part of the company's plans to modernize the record books. This would imply that Gunther will continue to defend his title well into the current year, possibly even until next year. But, don't be surprised if the WWE pivots towards having Gunther take on Lesnar at SummerSlam in August, as initially planned.
Aside from Gunther's arrival, the May 15 episode of Monday Night RAW will include a thrilling face-off between Shinsuke Nakamura and The Miz.
