Fans of The Scottish Warrior have desperately missed his presence inside the squared circle ever since his last match at this year's Showcase of the Immortals, where he and Sheamus lost to the still-reigning Intercontinental Champion, Gunther. But, while we haven't seen Drew McIntyre grace the WWE with his presence, fans did get a pretty sweet surprise during the WWE Night of Champions.
Even though McIntyre wasn't at the Jeddah Superdome to share with the festivities, audiences got to see him in a series of video snippets that aired on the WWE's partner streaming platform, Peacock, after the event ended.
The video glimpses, which are typically used to fall dead air moments between shows, spotlighted a few of WWE's top stars like Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley.
To everyone's surprise, McIntyre, who, as we've already mentioned, hasn't been in a match for close to two months, was a part of the video.
Fans always look forward to these videos as they take audiences on a trip down memory lane, showcasing the journey of a wrestler and their achievements in the WWE so far.
