In the march toward the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on November 18, Eevee fans have been speculating about whether the newest additions to the Pokémon game series will introduce a new Eeveelution.
However, there is currently no indication that the games will have a new Eeveelution, despite rumors to the contrary.
The soon to be released Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the first open-world role playing games (RPG) in the Pokémon series. They take place on Paldea – a region that is reminiscent of Mediterranean Spain.
Usually, Game Freak, Pokémon's developer, adds a new Eeveelution every even-numbered generation. However, they did not add one for the game's eighth generation leading users to speculate that generation nine, which starts with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, will have one.
