We're currently living in an era where, for better or worse (mostly worse), crossovers are no longer a surprise event but a necessity for franchises. One of the best crossover events recently occurred in Mortal Kombat 1, which welcomes The Boys' Homelander as upcoming DLC - just don't get surprised when he opens his mouth.
Contrary to what fans of the hit Amazon series based on the comic series would expect, the actor behind the controversial Supe, Antony Starr, will not be lending his voice to his video game counterpart - possibly due to costs or conflicts involved in licensing.
Back on November 30, Homelander superfan (yikes?) @joshsegovia46 inquired on X (formerly successful) if Starr could voice Homelander on MK1, to which he concisely replied, "That ship flew hombre."
A few days later, during the For The Love of Sci-Fi 2023 event, another curious fan probed Starr about potentially voicing Homelander in the NetherRealms title. Probably getting tired of all the Homelander questions, Starr responded, "Hey, have you seen Call of Duty? I voiced Call of Duty, so go play that.
