Now that we're only a few klicks away from the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, players can barely contain their excitement to the sequel to arguably the most important Call of Duty in history.
Two years after giving a pandemic-struck world a way to kill time, the battle royale sequel is aiming to improve on the original's shortcomings while also adding in a few personal touches. Of course, it won't replace Warzone entirely as the free-to-play game will still exist once Warzone 2.0 is out. Instead, both Warzone and Warzone 2.0 will co-exist, which is an interesting take but a different topic for another day.
What we're here to talk about is when Warzone 2.0 is coming out, when you can start the pre-load, and why some people got a chance to drop in early.
As confirmed earlier this year, Warzone 2.0 will launch on November 16 at 10:00 AM PT or 1:00 PM ET. As Warzone 2.0 is a live-service title, expect to have a bit of trouble when you try to log into the game for the first few hours. Thankfully, you can pre-load Warzone 2.0 on November 14 at 10:00 PM or 1:00 PM ET and attempt to jump into the game as soon as it's out.
