Over two years ago, Sony founded the PlayStation PC LLC brand, a branch specifically dedicated to publishing first-party PlayStation titles on PC. This introduction saw the previously-released ports listed under PlayStation PC LLC as its publisher instead of PlayStation Mobile, which started with Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone.
Now, Steam is home to nearly a dozen former PlayStation exclusives and counting.
With Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition headed to Epic Games Store and Steam next on March 21, the question now is, which fan-favorite single-player experience will be available to play on PC after? Perhaps, the more pressing question is, why isn’t it Ghost of Tsushima?

Ghost of Tsushima is exactly the kind of AAA exclusive that Sony wants to make more of but won’t publicly admit. The developers, Sucker Punch Production, took six years to make the game, costing PlayStation $60 million. In return, Ghost of Tsushima sold nearly 10 million copies, likely making over half a billion in revenue. In comparison, other hits such as The Last of Us Part 2 and Horizon Forbidden West cost many times over to make and only made just as much as Ghost of Tsushima.
Post-launch, Ghost of Tsushima received critical accolades and was recognized by the Japanese government. It also got a free DLC in Legends and a premium expansion, the Iki Island Expansion, with a different setting. Finally, Chad Stahelski is helming a live-action adaptation that, according to the long-time John Wick director, could feature an all-Japanese cast for authenticity. This, along with a PlayStation 5 update, made Ghost of Tsushima prime for a PC port, and for the longest time, rumors persisted that it was coming.
The rumors eventually died and Sony started releasing PC ports of other equally beloved PlayStation titles, but, as per a recent leak, Ghost of Tsushima is headed to PC soon.
An anonymous user on 4chan, who claims to work for Nixxes Software, a PlayStation subsidiary that specializes in PC ports, confirmed that the following games are coming to PC this year:
- The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered
- God of War: Ragnarok
- Demon’s Souls
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Gran Turismo 7
The same source adds that Sony is porting Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC in early 2025, with Infamous: Second Son and other earlier PlayStation exclusives also on the table as well.
As with any leak from 4Chan, it’s best to take these with a heavy dose of NaCl. In this particular, it’s doubtful that this is coming from a legitimate source. But based on the timing, Ghost of Tsushima’s arrival on PC sounds about right. Not to mention, there are rumblings that Until Dawn is getting a remaster on PS5 and PC with the announcement happening soon, presumably in early February at a State of Play showcase. Finally, since The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered already launched on PS5 last January 19, a PC port is all but certain.
However, we’re doubtful Gran Turismo 7 and God of War: Ragnarok are next. The former’s director, Kazunori Yamauchi, previously denied talks that it’s coming to PC. Finally, the latter’s PC port probably isn’t scheduled until 2025 with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 penciled in for a late 2025 or early 2026 PC release.
As for Demon’s Souls, we’re pretty sure its PC port was always just a matter of time. The PS5 launch title was included in the Nvidia GeForce Now leak along with Ghost of Tsushima and several others.
All of this is to say that Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port is hitting store selves sooner rather than later. The only question is, when? Unfortunately, only Sony can give us the answer.
