AEW fans, get ready! AEW Fight Forever is coming to consoles near you on June 27.
confirmed this weekend, revealing that AEW will reveal more about the upcoming game next week.
AEW, or All Elite Wrestling, has made a name for itself as a more mature alternative compared to the TV-PG product by the WWE. In its bid to compete with the world's foremost wrestling promotion, AEW brought in Yuke's, the long-time WWE 2K developers, to make AEW Fight Forever - a wrestling game that isn't unlike WWE 2K.
Unfortunately, the game's development has been marred by delays and radio silence.
The last we heard, the developers and AEW owner, Tony Khan, couldn't agree about the state of the game.
However, with this recent news, AEW Fight Forever might finally be ready to take the fight to WWE 2K23, which continues to expand its roster with both paid and free post-launch additions.
