Netflix hasn't renewed the series for a second outing but series showrunners already have ideas for the next season of Wednesday. One of the ideas teased for the show is the involvement of more Addams Family members.

Fans were hyped when Wednesday was announced as a Netflix series and when the show debuted last week, it did not disappoint audiences who tuned in. With the success of its first season on Netflix, fans are already waiting for the second season.

In an interview with TV Line, series co-creator Miles Millar shared he and Alfred Gough felt like they "just touched the surface" with the members of the Addams Family. Most of the first season was spent introducing Wednesday's new classmates and the teachers over at Nevermore Academy, with brief appearances from the members of her family.

Morticia Addams, Gomez Addams, Pugsley Addams, and Uncle Fester were present in the series but they didn't get much screen time. Thing was arguably the only household member that had a significant role in the first season of Wednesday. The series co-creators did recognize their outstanding performance in the series.
