This just in: there's a better game than Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok.
In what was easily the most surprising turnout at the BAFTA Game Awards, Vampire Survivors walked away with the "Best Game" award over both Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok. In addition to this, Vampire Survivors also took home the "Game Design" award, beating out Cult of the Lamb and Horizon Forbidden West.
If it's any consolation, God of War: Ragnarok still went home with the most awards with six, while Elden Ring had two.
