Weeks ahead of its launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and on desktops, Electronic Arts have officially confirmed the hardware requirements of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
While the Star Wars Jedi sequel was always expected to have heavy PC requirements, most probably didn't expect it to be such a demanding game.

To put this into perspective, some of the recently-released current-gen games that are also available on the PC don't have minimum requirements that are as high as that of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The one that comes closest is that of Forspoken, which isn't the best comparison.
Square Enix has already spoken out about the disappointing sales of Forspoken and one of the many reasons why people avoided it is because it was an unoptimized mess on the PC. This isn't a sign that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor could suffer a similar fate on desktops but it is a red flag worth noting.
Having said that, your best chance at running Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on a gaming PC that barely meets the minimum PC requirements is to follow EA's recommendation to free up at least 155 GB of storage on an SSD.
If it's any consolation, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a good reason to give your aging warhorse an upgrade, especiallyafter all the good things we've been hearing about it.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch on April 28.
