PlayStation has committed to divesting several of its exclusive IPs. In addition to porting over best-selling titles like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Days Gone, among others, to the PC, PlayStation is making live-action adaptations of its most popular games. Case in point, HBO's The Last of Us. However, another live-action adaptation that is also in the works is the Ghost of Tsushima movie led by Chad Stahelski.
Unfortunately, while landing Stahelski to helm the film is a big deal, it appears that fans shouldn't expect to hear more about the movie adaptation soon.
When is the Ghost of Tsushima movie going to release?
Stahelski recently spoke with IGN to talk about why the Ghost of Tsushima live-action adaptation might take a bit longer than expected. After it was confirmed earlier this year, fans believed that it would release within a year or two. However, judging from what Stahelski just said, it's best not to expect the movie until 2023 if not later.
