The Fast and Furious franchise's quarter-mile journey is finally coming to an end.

The main series will conclude two movies from now and the beginning of the end will start with Fast X. But, while the series is nearing the finish line, it doesn't mean that its cinematic universe will cease to exist as well. For one, there's still the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson-led spin-off series, Hobbs & Shaw, albeit that one won't go past its upcoming sequel. On top of this, Universal Filmed Entertainment Group head, Donna Langley, recently expressed her desire to have an all-female movie made.

Here's what Langley had to say in an interview with Business Insider: I would love to see a female Fast, so would Vin [Diesel]. We have so many great and amazing female characters in our franchise and now there's the new addition of Brie Larson to add to the incredible roster. I would love to see us do a female Fast. As Langley points out, the Captain Marvel star is joining Fast X along with other big names such as Jason Momoa, Rita Moreno, and Alan Ritchson.
