A few years ago, you would have thought that every game would have had a VR mode by now. The video game industry pushed VR so hard to the point that it was annoying. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, VR never grew quite as big as intended. But, this hasn't stopped companies from making VR versions of games, especially now that the processing power and hardware of consoles are starting to catch up with the higher performance demand of VR titles.
Earlier this year, we saw the announcement and subsequent release of Resident Evil 4 VR. In addition, Facebook also confirmed that a VR version of GTA: San Andreas is coming soon. Now, it appears that Rockstar was thinking of a VR mode available in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.
Is Rockstar going to release a VR mode for GTA Trilogy?
Rockstar Intel reporter Ben Turpin found information about a functional first-person mode in the remastered version of GTA: San Andreas. He added that Rockstar and Grove Street Games marked it as a VR option in the back-end menus, describing it as a "little bit unfinished" that ultimately "plays pretty well" and "would be super cool for screenshots!"
