Ubisoft, in collaboration with Skybound Entertainment, is bringing the Invincible franchise to gaming. The incoming mobile game, Invincible: Guarding the Globe, capitalizes on the growing mainstream popularity of the comic book series-turned-hit animated Prime Video show, offering fans a fresh experience.

Skybound's comic series, launched in 2003, and its Prime Video adaptation, released in 2021, have created quite a devoted following. The high-octane, super-powered action coupled with the nuanced narratives of Mark Grayson, the half-human hybrid child of the world's most formidable superhero, Omni-Man, and his emerging powers are now transitioning into an all-new, uniquely mobile experience.

This idle squad role-playing game introduces an original storyline within the Invincible universe. Players will join the Global Defense Agency and assist its head, Cecil Stedman, in unraveling the mystery of a deadly clone army and recovering stolen burger meat – a clear nod to the franchise's quirky humor.

While the game's narrative ties to the Prime Video series remain ambiguous, Ubisoft has confirmed the appearance of an array of familiar faces, promising a deeply engaging Invincible experience.

Guarding the Globe isn't the next Marvel's Spider-Man. Instead, its goal is to be a unique RPG experience. The game lets players build, manage, and customize their five-member attack squad, made up of attackers, defenders, and supporters, to fend off a slew of threats from the world of Invincible. The characters confirmed for the game include Invincible, Atom Eve, Omni-Man, Robot, Rex Splode, War Woman, Black Samson, Dupli-Kate, The Immortal, and Green Ghost, among others. The team selection aspect of the game promotes unique synergies and combinations, ensuring every player's squad is catered to different circumstances and strategies.
