Ubisoft ended support for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint last year and insiders suggested that the company may start work on a new Ghost Recon title. A new rumor corroborates the previous information that the developer is working on a new entry for the popular franchise.
Tom Henderson revealed that Ubisoft is planning to release the new Ghost Recon title in 2025. We do not have any details about the upcoming title aside from the planned release window. If it holds true, then the six-year gap between the mainline entries will be the longest in the series.
Ubisoft has not yet announced a new Ghost Recon title and what Henderson shared is just a rumor at best. So, take it with a huge pinch of salt as the situation at Ubisoft is a bit volatile at the moment.
Ubisoft is currently in a downturn with the company reportedly canceling three unannounced titles and delaying Skull and Bones yet again. The developer has canceled games that it thinks players do not want in a bid to cut costs by $200 million over two years.
