This year is shaping up to be a good year for racing games. Microsoft recently shared new details about Forza Motorsports, which is being touted as a rival for Gran Turismo 7. Now, a new game has been announced that aims to challenge Forza Horizon 5 and Need for Speed Unbound.
Ubisoft has announced The Crew Motorfest, the third installment in the open-world racing series. Ubisoft Ivory Tower will return as the developers of the game, which will use a new game engine.
The studio dropped an official trailer for The Crew Motorfest showcasing the open-world setting. Motorfest will allow car lovers to fulfill their ultimate action driving bucket list through a series of tailor-made races, themed events, and other unique challenges," Ubisoft states.
The upcoming racing game will be set on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii. Players will be racing in various locations on the island including city streets and lush forests.
