As previously mentioned, Xbox is gearing up for the release of Starfield next week. Bethesda plans to work on The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 after the massive space RPG, keeping the studio busy for several more years. Todd Howard recently talked about the upcoming RPG, saying it may be his last Elder Scrolls title before he calls it a career.

In a recent interview with GQ, Howard revealed that he has often thought about announcing The Elder Scrolls 6 in 2018. While the announcement during Bethesda's E3 2018 conference was very brief, five years on, Howard thinks he would have done things differently.

"I have asked myself that a lot," Howard said. "I don't know. I probably would've announced it more casually."
