Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially kicks off in a month with the premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which just got a new trailer. The moderators of the Marvel Studios Spoilers subreddit page have shared the names of three TV shows set to premiere on Disney+ that will be delayed. WandaVision spin-off Agatha: Coven of Chaos, the second season of What If…?, and Echo will be moved.
Twitter user and reliable Marvel leaker @CanWeGetToast has corroborated the report that Season 2 of What If…? has been delayed. According to the leaker, the show has been pushed back to 2024 and the precise release date is yet to be decided.
The sophomore season of What If…? was supposed to be the earliest TV series for Phase Five. The alternate reality series stars Jeffrey Wright as the Watcher, an extraterrestrial being that observes the events of the Multiverse. Many of the characters from the MCU appear as alternate versions of themselves in the series.
