Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito made for one of the most unlikely movie pairings ever back in the 1980s classic comedy film, Twins. The two featured in the role of siblings who were genetically engineered to become the "perfect children" only to end up being separated at birth and then meet each other later on in their adult lives.
The film was a massive success as it pulled in $216.6 million in the global box office against a relatively modest $18 million budget. This also resulted in lucrative paydays for both stars; Schwarzenegger and DeVito agreed beforehand to take 20% of the film's box office returns instead of their usual fees.
Yet, despite the success of the movie, a sequel never materialized, which was unusual given the time it was released. Since then, Schwarzenegger and DeVito have gone on to star in other films. However, many decades later, it appears that both are reprising their roles in an aptly titled sequel, Triplets.
