The trailer for The Marvels has been dislike bombed on Youtube

Unfortunately, things might get a lot worse for The Marvels with the official Marvel Studio channels in Latin America, Spain, and Indonesia showing worse reception for the trailer.

Online trolls are bombing the trailer for the movie, bemoaning the "wokeness" of the film.

"With great wokeness comes great brokeness and fatigue," one user comments.

Other comments seem to have already written off the film as a box office bust.

"Barely made it through the trailer. Can't wait for the reviews when it flops, it will be hilarious."

The Marvels has attracted much attention from online trolls with Brie Larson being the target of sexist remarks for her portrayal of Captain Marvel. Larson has been targeted by toxic fans for comments she made in 2019 where she criticized the lack of diversity in superhero movies. Despite the backlash, Captain Marvel earned $1.1 billion at the global box office.

However, "wokeness" isn't the only thing that fans have been complaining about. Recent Marvel films like Thor: Love and Thunder and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania have also been criticized for their lackluster visual effects and CGI work.

There are also allegations that the studio has been pushing VFX artists to their limits in meeting deadlines. Insiders have revealed that the VFX teams have experienced poor working conditions as the teams try to finish post-production work with very limited manpower.

It remains to be seen how this negative fan reception will affect The Marvels at the global box office on November 10.
