The Ubisoft Forward event didn't disappoint fans of The Crew series. The upcoming open-world racing game is one of the racing titles coming later this year alongside Xbox's Forza Motorsport.
The release date for The Crew Motorfest was officially announced at Ubisoft Forward yesterday. The racing game is being developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower is coming on September 14 to PC and consoles.
Ubisoft showcased a gameplay premiere trailer for the racing game during the recent live stream using 4K footage straight from the game engine.
The trailer showed a variety of environments that players can race on. Street racing at night, drifting through narrow city environments, getting dirty on the muddy back roads, and performing stunts on motorcycles are all part of The Crew Motorfest. The game will be set on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and have a motor festival theme.
Players can use a variety of vehicles from Formula One cars, supercars, hotrods, offroad machines, and two-wheeled bikes. The Lamborghini Revuelto, the first hybrid V12 from the famed Italian automaker, is the official cover car for The Crew Motorfest and is heavily featured in the trailer.
