Boba is back - the upcoming Disney+ exclusive streaming series The Book of Boba Fett just got a new trailer titled "The Return" ahead of the December 29 premiere of the show. The new trailer is one minute long and doesn't have too much new footage, but there is still some new meat to sink our teeth into.

The Return indicates that the show, other than picking up from where The Mandalorian season 2 left off, will give some backstory on what Boba was up to in between Return of the Jedi and his reappearance on the galactic stage - he had to get out of that Sarlacc pit somehow, right?

We know that Boba Fett has taken over the criminal underground on Tatooine alongside Fennec Shand, but it's clear that not every thief, gangster, smuggler, bounty hunter and other unsavory characters are fine with the old Mandalorian sitting on Jabba's, later Bib Fortuna's former throne.

The trailer shows off scenes involving sand people, Boba recovering in what seems to be a Bacta tank, a neat little suiting up montage (who would have thought that wee droids help Boba get dressed?), some big sweeping vistas with spaceships slowly landing to remind you that this is indeed Star Wars, at least one scene in a cantina - we expect more - and a fantastically nostalgic shot of the Slave-1. Uhh, no, sorry, we mean the Firespray. The name change will take some getting used to.
