A cute PlayStation console exclusive featuring a fleecy little Cat gets a June 19 release date. Stray is all about exploring a futuristic city and solving puzzles with the help of a friendly robot called B-12. In Stray, players will control a stray cat in third-person view, tasked to navigate the neon-lit city and solve mysterious puzzles to help return the Cat back home.
In addition to the release date was also announced that the game would be available on PlayStation Plus at launch for members having the 'Extra' tier or above.
A tiny amount of gameplay footage was shown during Sony's State of Play 2022 and revealed the Cat being completely out of place in the city of robots. The Cat was also seen having conversations with different NPCs, probably the vendors and quest-givers in the game?
The gameplay also showed the realistic animations of the Cat movement as it purrs away the incoming threat. In the blog post by PlayStation, Swann Martin-Raget, BlueTwelve Studio's producer, indulged and acknowledged the hard work that was put in throughout the seven-year development period.
