Fans of Netflix's sci-fi horror drama TV series, Stranger Things, have had to wait for a very long time to hear more about the release of the show's confirmed fourth season. The COVID-19 pandemic probably delayed production. Still, two years is extreme for any fan to wait for a potential release date and/or trailer. However, the fandom could soon find its patience rewarded.

According to Stranger Things' executive producer Shawn Levy, season 4 is coming "quite soon.

In an interview with Variety, Levy explained that the extended period between Season 3 and Season 4 isn't all because of the pandemic. He explained that they decided to go "much bigger" for Season 4, shooting in places like Lithuania, Georgia, and New Mexico. This would make the upcoming season of Stranger Things the biggest yet.
