Stone Cold being at WrestleMania 39 has been rumored for as long as similar talks of his old rival, The Rock, being a part of the same event, have gone on.
The Texas Rattlesnake also fueled the rumors when he posted videos of himself looking a lot more like his old jacked self last year. And, as it turns out, there might be some truth to the words that have been going around lately.
Apparently, the WWE had pitched several ideas to Austin already, including matches against LA Knight and Brock Lesnar. In particular, the latter was more recent, with Sports Illustrated saying that a potential Stone Cold vs Brock Lesnar match-up was the reason why the WWE moved the seismic showdown between Brock Lesnar and Bobbly Lashley to this year's Elimination Chamber - not at WrestleMania 39.
