It looks like the brilliantly horrific mind behind Pennywise the Clown has some good things to say about one of the three DC Extended Universe films that are coming out later this year.

Ahead of its release on June 16, Stephen King published his thoughts on The Flash on Twitter and it's created a buzz all over the internet.

The Flash, directed by Andrés Muschietti, is eagerly awaited by fans. It's received plenty of praise from earlier screenings earlier this year and last year. The expectations for The Flash are so high that it's possible that people will feel disappointed if it's anything less than perfect. It certainly doesn't help that a creative genius like Stephen King appreciates Muschietti's work, which undeniably only adds to the anticipation.

King, who's considered the master of horror and suspense, took to social media after watching an early screening of The Flash.

In his post, King praised the film highly, calling it "heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping."
