Final Fantasy 7 turned 25 this year. In an ideal world, Square Enix would have already revealed if not released Part 2 of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. The closest thing that Square Enix has to show is last year's Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade for the PS5 as well as the same game's PC port, which was released in December.

Thankfully, Final Fantasy fans got some good news from Final Fantasy 7's original director, Yoshinori Kitase.

As reported by VGC, a translated quote from Kitase reveals that Square Enix is working on Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, a mobile version that will re-tell the story of the entire original Final Fantasy VII universe, including the spin-offs featuring Zack Fair, among others. More importantly, Kitase confirmed that Square Enix will try to reveal more of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2.

Unfortunately, VGC's report did not include a confirmation from Kitase as to when Square Enix will reveal Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2.
