After being hit with a strategic delay, Forspoken is finally coming out on January 24. With only a few weeks to go before gamers can finally enter the world of Athia and play as Frey Holland, Square Enix dropped a cinematic trailer that's wowing audiences as much as it's causing genuine concern among the community.
The minute-long trailer is basically Square Enix's way of telling everybody, "yes, Forspoken is as stylish as the most recent Final Fantasy games". Unfortunately, while no one's docking any style points from Forspoken, some worry that the trailer might have set up unrealistic expectations for the game.
The still-available Forspoken demo for the PlayStation 5 are getting mixed reactions. Even if the developers, Luminous Productions, vowed to make improvements to Forspoken based on feedback, we doubt that a month is enough to fix the game's issues like its massive but relatively empty open-world map and sluggish combat.
