Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be premiering in less than two weeks. Some fans are already waiting for journalists and critics to give their first impressions of the film. The second film in what is becoming one of the most appreciated super hero spin-off series has completed production, seemingly cutting things quite close.
"Update: It. Is. Done," Across the Spider-Verse co-director Justin K. Thompson tweeted. Thompson the co-director of the upcoming sequel to Into the Spider-Verse with Joaquim Dos Santos and Kemp Powers.
The trio will be making their feature directorial debut in Across the Spider-Verse.
It seems quite odd that a highly anticipated movie finished post-production so close to its release date. However, given the magnitude of the movie, the post-production team may have had a lot of work to do.
The upcoming film will feature a ton of characters, specifically Spider-People from across the multiverse. Aside from Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, the upcoming movie will feature Spider-Woman, Spider-Man India, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man 2099, Peter Parker from Marvel's Spider-Man video game series, and many more.
