Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated games coming out later this year. However, there's been little to no information on it since its initial announcement. The only thing we're sure of is that Insomniac Games maintains that it will arrive this year.
Now, Tony Todd, the actor who voices Venom in the upcoming game, has handed fans a lifeline as he has revealed that the title will arrive this September following a massive marketing campaign in August.
The veteran actor provided this update on Twitter in a response to a fan query about the release date. In his words, "Looks like September! Massive publicity coming in August. Commercials start dropping in August so I'm told. Hold on to your … and hold breath! Gonna be necessary"
Todd's statement follows that of Yuri Lowenthal, who voices Peter Parker. In a statement to CBM in January, Lowenthal had expressed his excitement about the game and revealed that Insomniac is confident about its release date.
