Spider-Man is everywhere these days.
It's as if the floodgates opened as soon as Sony and Marvel Studios struck a deal to bring Tom Holland's Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016. Now, there's at least one Spider-Man project coming almost every year. In fact, had it not been for the Spider-Verse delay, audiences would have gone seven years straight of seeing the Web-Head swing his way to a video game console or into theaters.
Instead, we'll have to settle with a six-year streak, which isn't half-bad all things considered.
Having said that, we should consider the current "break" from Spider-Man the calm before the storm.
With a handful of Spider-Man projects in the works at the moment, we might go a decade of seeing Jonah Jameson's favorite Masked Vigilante in a big project starting in 2023. Until then, we'll have to settle with tidbits of news that we can get our hands on, starting with what Tom Rothman just shared with Deadline.
